 Volunteering

Want to volunteer with Heal?

We're always looking for people to donate their time and skills. We have different volunteering options, you can take part in practical volunteering at Heal Somerset or you can support us with various tasks from home and/or at our events.

Practical volunteering at Heal Somerset

You can assist us with practical activities, such as wildlife surveys and land management projects, on site at Heal Somerset.

Virtual (desk-based) and event volunteering

You can contribute from the comfort of your home at times that suit you, and help us with a wide variety of things, such as fundraising, graphic design, and general admin support.

"I love volunteering for Heal. They host wonderful community group visits, which I am pleased to help with, and which gives life to their aim to both heal the land and heal people through the land. This includes me as I benefit from helping others to connect with nature here."

"I started volunteering at Heal pretty soon after it was acquired. In the last couple of years since I started surveying, I've noticed saplings of blackthorn, oak and aspen march out into the fields. It's fantastic to see the progression into a more diverse habitat in such a short time. I'm looking forward to seeing how it improves more and more over the coming years."
