Heal is looking for a part-time Admin Assistant to join our small team at an exciting time for the charity, as we have just acquired our foundation rewilding site, Heal Somerset.

About the role

We are looking for an experienced administrator to join our fun and ambitious rewilding charity. The role is based at our new rewilding site in the Somerset countryside. The post-holder will support the delivery of a range of projects focused on nature, climate and wellbeing. The post-holder will be joining a small, friendly team and will benefit from a flexible, inclusive working environment. This is a varied role that will involve working with volunteers, staff, trustees and contractors.

Contract details

Salary: £10.92 per hour (£11,356 per year) plus NEST pension (full-time equivalent £21,294)

Contract: part-time, permanent contract

Hours: 20 hours per week with some home working flexibility (no more than one day per week)

Location: based at Heal Somerset. The exact location will be disclosed at interview (we have not publicised the location yet as the site is currently closed to visitors). It is approximately 15 minutes' drive from Frome and Bruton. There are no public transport links (bus/train routes) to the exac
t location.

  • Experience working independently to support a team, using your own initiative and taking responsibility for completing tasks and reporting back within agreed timescales

Location

One of the essential criteria for this role is that our new Admin Assistant must be based at our new rewilding site, Heal Somerset (15 minutes' drive from Frome and Bruton) at least four out of five days per week. Please can you confirm that you are within commutable distance to the site by providing the first half of your postcode?
